Description

Plaid sarong with figures (tembe paleka-salunka). Black, blue, and white threads cotton, rest probably synthetic (nggoli). Machine sewn. Made in 1982, probably in Salere hamlet. Black, with loud unbalanced plaid of red, blue, yellow, white, aqua, pink and green. Rose panel with rows of large yellow and white butterflies and narrow blue vertical stripes. Border stripes rose.
