Description

Fragmentary light poncho. Crepe with painted panels, interlocking blue, pink, yellow scrolls separated by sewed on tapestry finged on both sides at regular intervals. Bottom with sewed on tapestry borders; the upper with complex double-fringed band and with diamond overlay stitch; lower border fringed.

Fragmentary poncho. Main structure in a crepe type technique that is painted in a scroll design. Added fringed tapestry elements attached in lines down the poncho and along the bottom hem. Color(s): Off-white crepe sections that have a painted design in blue. Tapestry elements are in red, brown, and yellow.
