Description | Terracotta: female dog nursing 2 puppies. She lies on rectangular plaque, front paws placed forward, parallel, in line with line of her body, back paws stretched out at right angles to body, long tail extended over them. The two puppies lie at right angles to their mother's body, the tail of one curled in one direction, of the other in the opposite direction. Pinkish buff clay. Traces of white. |
