Description | Deep buff ware, cream slip. Low hollow foot with expanding sides; sides of body rising to very blunt carinatiion then contracting slightly to rim. Dark brown painted decoration: just below rim in band of lozenges filled with parallel lines; below this, 4 bands of short narrow parallel diagonal lines between 2 plain bands; band at junction of foot and body; 3 groups of lines from this to edge of base. |
