Description | Pottery; restored; less fine fabric than MS2739 with moderately abundant inclusions of feldspar, hornblende, quartz and mica. Core of fabric dark cinder grey, surface lighter grey tinged with pink. Handmade. The ribs are made of ropes of clay pressed into the wall of the vase while still moist. Oh handles: two shallow incised lines. |
