Description | Unusual bowl form, terra-cotta color, with relief and incised decoration. Made for Administration officer who did not purchase it. Motifs and form rather unusual for this area and may be recent innovations. Of the type widely traded along the coast of the Huon Peninsula and across the Siassi [Islands] and New Britain. |
