Description | US Army sword belt with pouch. Leather belt with white decorative stitching. Rectangular silver on gold brassl buckle with eagle holding olive leaves and arrows, laurel (?) leaves flanking, banner with E PLURIBUS UNUM and 12 stars overhead. Buckle used by US (Union) army enlisted and officers beginning in 1851 under general order #31. Round medallion pouch with flower in white stitching. Found with Leather sheath 17153. |
