Description

Ivory. The region of the mouthpiece has the form of that AF829, but is in high relief on the inside of the curve of the tusk. For the attribution ( Torday) cf. AF815. The spelling of name which has changed to Lovale is in this case "Tuvalle". The mouthpiece has the appearance of the Northern Congo form. An attempt to make a second mouthpeice-hole behind the first was abandoned.
