Description | Blue Thread, Handle and Spout. Intact but for portion of thread decoration on neck. Rounded body with a flat bottom. Fairly long neck with flaring conical lip. Handle from shoulder to lip. Sharp spout on belly. Plain threads around the lower neck and the lip. Body is of greenish translucent glass, while the handle, spout, and thread decoration are all darker green glass. Free blown. Blown light green glass. Bulbous jug with depressed base and spout on body. Spout, handle, single thread inder rim and band of zig-zags on body in dark green glass. Thread around neck broken. Slight protuberance on body under zig-zag as if it had been made by pinching while body was still soft. |
