Description | Cotton. Striped red-orange with narrow blue, red light blue, maroon, orange, white and a wide band of green only on outside, an innovation. Warp faced weave with weft shadow stripes of red and narrow purple and white. Two panels with multicolored randa and buttonhole stitching around neck. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 68, 2 ply, Z twist, 1 strand, multi color stripe, cotton. Weft: 18 red single ply, Z twist, 3 strands, white, purple, cotton shadow stripes. Warp predominently plain weave. 2 pieces joined with decorative stitch." |
