Description

Three dimensional puppet with wooden torso, wooden head, wooden arms, articulated at shoulder and elbows, cotton skirt from waist down. Puppet is held and operated by a wooden stick which passes through a hole in the torso and into the base of the head and by sticks attached to the hands.. Face pink (badly chipped), rest of skin gold. Bulging round red eyes, hooked nose. Royal headdress, with crown , ear ornaments, and garuda mungkur. Blue and yellow ornaments at upper arms, gold and yellow at wrists, Wrists flexed. Long green chest cover with two silver thread flowers. Broad silver belt. Batik skirt; mustard with pink purple, blue, green flowers and birds. Very soiled, small holes here and there.
