Description

Very large spoon of mountain-sheep horn. Unused. Light yellowish translucent horn. Thin and very well made. Long flattish handle has a plate of copper attached with four native rivets. Engraved with Neo-North-west Coast designs in outline and cross-hatching; eagle (?) and whale (?) in free art style.
