Description | For carrying tortilla basket, also doubled and worn on the head, white with narrow twilled bands, ends striped with red of various widths sometimes bordered by a line of blue, ends fringed. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 40 epi, single, Z-twist. Weft: 36 ppi, 2 singles, white, red and black. Balanced plain weave and weft faced twill weave in red and black stripes. Made on a floor loom." |
