Description | Ring foot with broad resting surface. Body only slightly rounded in profile, the diam. greatest at the shoulder which is only gently sloping from base of neck to outer edge. Trefoil lip strongly pinched in leaving gap of only 0.05 m. Strap handle attached at shoulder, rising above and down to attachment at top of back of lip. Top of lip grooved beneath glaze. Intact. Oyster white clay. Fully black glazed except resting surface and bottom which are resrerved and painted red. |
