Description | Black, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture. Symmetrical. Base narrow and perpendicular to longitudinal axis. Small flaked driven off base parallel to longitudinal axis. Edge of tang are straight and converge toward base. Tang-tip junction is shallow arc formed by intersection of the edges of the two elements. Flake scars not parallel to one another, but are perpendicular to edges. They are large for an artifact of this size. |
