Description

Warp: \ wool; ud.

Weft: \ linen; ud: \ wool; ud, dark-blue and red, blue, green (emb.), red (braid).

Technique: Tapestry over one warp. Emb. with green wool;

A. Fragment of neck band and shoulder panel. B. Angle-band at bottom of shirt and knee panel. All have plain edge, crested border. Bands have series of human forms with hands upraised holding branch (?), some in arcades, some not. Panels have alternately "jumping jacks" and ovals filled with interlace. Leaf end to bands.
