Description | Carinated jar with pronounced base; two horizontal handles; raised, with bridged spout. Medium textured, pink (7.5 YR 7/4) clay. Wiped with water. Not burnished. Undecorated. Intact except for handles. Comments: MM III-LM IB. Compare Hawes et al. 1908: p. 2, no 48 (Gournia); Bosanquet and Dawkins 1923: 69, fig. 49 (Palaikastro). This is a late version of MS4732. |
