Description | Statue of Venus Anadyomene. Dark brown patina shows signs of heavy wear. Badly scarred surface. Nude Aphrodite wrings water from hair with both hands. Left leg slightly bent, head turned in that direction. Wears diadem. Hair incised on back of shoulders. |
