Description | Red and white striped plain weave cotton cloth, two breadths, all seams cut stitched in bars of red, green and yellow cotton, neck opening bound in blue cotton cloth, half moon shape cotton designwith silk embroidered pattern on both front and back of garment, yellow, pale blue, purple, lavender and white threads. As per Sigrid Meiers, "Warp: 56 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, red blue, white and green cotton. Yellow: 3 singles, Z twist. Weft: 16 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp faced plain weave. No supplemental weft. 2 panels - 4 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
