Description | For shaft (with markings) cf. 29-58-65, for bindings cf. 29-58-64, for nock and sleeve cf. 29-58-64 and 65. The feathering is of the type of 29-58-63 and 67. The base of the point proper is barbed bilaterally, two pairs of barbs (bilateral) follow. The whole iron head is flat (cf. 29-58-67) and is pierced above the tang to take the leash by which it is attached to the shaft. The leash is composed of four cords tied together at intervals and wrapped at the ends where they are fastened to the shaft and movable head. This is apparently the "woven coil" spoken of by Redd in Negritos of Zambales, p. 46. |
