Description | Wooden; soft center wood now hollow. Butt end 11 cm from fore end lashed with sinew. Also sinew lashing at both ends of location for feathers, indicating that the feathers were lashed, rather than blued on. Originally had two feathers. Painted with a number of small red stripes. Notched nock. The fore end is broken off obliquely but had been slotted for attachment of stone point. |
