Fitzgerald: “Straight-sided bowls, with decorative patterns deeply incised upon them by means of a knife blade, are not uncommon. One such bowl, with ledge handles, comes from the Terrace (House II, Room 8). It is of reddish-yellow ware and traces of painting, in red and white, on the interior. Fragments of six other bowls with similar incised decoration were found in the same area.” |
