Description | Beak-like iron blade: wooden handle ornamented with brass studs and wire. Large iron blade extending from handle; blade is narrow just above the handle then widens; at the end of the blade opposite the handle the blade bends sharply to one side and tapers to a sharp point; there is a hole through the face of the blade, just above where the blade becomes wide; wooden handle and has a large cylindrical knob at the end opposite the blade; there are five vertical rows of brass studs on the knob and a circle consisting of six brass studs in the center of the underside of the knob; metal wire is tightly wrapped around part of handle closest to the blade. |
