Description

Wood; design similar to -161 to -162; more or less globular with bottom drawn down to flat-bottomed nib traversed by perforated longitudinal ridge; bowl stem carved with narrow, wide, narrow rings (?); interior brass lined and overlaps the lip; brass chain attached to bottom ridge by iron spiral ring; lengths of chain with a flat silver (?) plated brass (?) tag-like object.
