Description | Tarai. Copper and brass. Telescope trumpet in three sections. Each section is marked by slightly bulging ring and brass decoration. Also brass decoration around midpoint of bell section. Conical bore. Mouth piece: shallow cup with flarng rim. Brass rings at beginning of third section and at end of bell for chain. Three copper rods around cylinder of trumpet circa 16 cm. from mouth piece. Resembles Tibetan Rag Dung. |
