Description | Wu Xian Qin. Five strings, rare, oblong, curved top, bottom is trough-like with low legs, body is solid. One end is somewhat concave, the other is convex and had a large wooden knob. On the top are two bridges extending the width of the sound board, each about 6 cm. from the end. At the convex end, there are five long pegs extending through the body, the strings are attached under the instrument. Good condition. Four pegs missing, three strings missing. |
