Description | Red and green cotton plaid [mostly red] with added pinstripes of yellow dark blue and green cotton, crosswise green purple light blue rose and yellow silk and orange cotton, embroidered figures in bands in same colors, geese and men and women [paper dolls] and flowers, fringed, one end with netted heading. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 64 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, multi colored cottons. Weft: 22 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplemental weft - single faced. 1 panel - 2 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
