Description | CBS Register: fragment clay violin shaped plaque: nude woman (sketched). Discovered 13 feet below the level of Naram Sin, Nippur, Oct. 12, 1885, with other objects, cf. 15558, 15559. PBS XVI: nude woman. it is only a fragment but very archaic, flat, and modelled by hand. The legs probably ran into a point with no lines to mark their division. The pubes is a large triangular patch with lines of dots inside. Excavated October 12, 1895 |
