Description | Two fragments found separately and subsequently glued together. Reddish-brown, fine-grained rock. Broken, midsection remains (with two or original edges). Ground on one surface only. Black chert. Probably asymmetrical, double pointed. Ridge parallel to and closer to distal edge. One surface flaked more and there appears to be attempt to remove bulb or percussion from original flake surface of other surface. Distal edge has slightly finer retouch. Broken along proximal edge from midpoint to one end. |
