Description | Poorly fired blackware. In fragments. Rounded bottom and sides inturned at rim which slightly overhangs the interior. Rim triangular in section with band of short diagonal ridges inside of sharp top ridge. Manufactured in the Amphlett Islands (between d'Entrecasteaux Islands and Trobriand) which is the pottery making center. Traded. |
