Description

Sommerville: Antique paste intaglio, color striated sard. A satyr. Antique Pastes, Case UUU.

Vermeule: Glass paste, imitating striated Sard. Intaglio. (Unmounted) An indistinguishable figure, perhaps Hermes, standing to right. His cloak over his right arm and his purse in his left hand. Graeco-Roman, inferior worksmanship.
