Description

One end of a forehead band. Soft cotton with tapestry end of two tabs; one with interlocking fret design.

According to the catalogue card, this fragment is a part of a "forehead band". Divided into two types of weave: one half of the fragment is a plain weave in cotton and the other half is a tapestry weave with two tabs. The tapestry end has two different designs on the tabs (one is a zigzag interlocking fret design). Color(s): White, red, brown, and tan.
