Description | Vermeule: Glass paste, imitating Sard. Intaglio. (Modern Gold Ring Setting) Aphrodite standing to left, half-draped with left hand on hip and extending her right hand to Eros who reaches up to grasp it. Graeco-Roman, in a plastic Alexandrine style, quite like some of the Gegraw plaques. |
