Sommerville: Onyx. A Grotesque head. Gold and Silver Rings - Cameos, Case KKK.

Vermeule: Onyx. Cameo. (Modern gold ring setting) Draped bust of a female to left. The composition is copied from a Roman denarius or aureus of Julia, daughter of Titus or one of the ladies of Domitian's house. Medieval "nice piece."
