Description | String of small rectangular pouches sewed together at upper corners. Pouches made of small pieces of woven cloth, doubled and sewed together up sides with tassels at lower corners. Worn by men at wasit for adornment and to carry small objects. 8 open pouches. Weft pattern technique. 7 x 6 cm. to 8.5 x 8.5 cm. Red on white [2], green on white [3], black on white [2], maroon on white [1]. 6 red edging, 2 [peripheral] brown edging. Designs of god's eye, frog, etc. |
