Description

Red-brown ware; cream slip partly worn off. Small flat base, sides convex to middle, then slightly concave to wide mouth which rises to a point at each side with loop handle from highest point to greatest diameter. Fiber rope [detached from handles, inside pot] carrying cord through handles. Very dark brown painted decoration on exterior; plain band on rim an dhandles; on each side is figure composed of straight and curved bands and having three pendent sections.
