Description | Bronze. Bottom of bowl corroded away and broken into many fragments. There can be little doubt that the bowl belongs to the tripod MS764 for, where the flutings end, the bottom of the bowl is slightly raised and the diameter of this raised circle exactly corresponds to the diameter of the collar of the tripod. Inside this raised area are 2 concentric circular grooves such as are imitated in clay phialai. |
