Description | Soor. Nadaswaram type. Mouth end and bell made of yellowish brass. Eight frontal holes and a pair of vent holes on either side of lower end. Conical tube made of dark, close-grained wood (possibly chandanna). Silk cord with two red tassles attached to upper end of tube and bell end. Condition is good except that bell is easily detachable from rest of instrument. |
