Description | 2 bowls published as 1 in McGovern. Bowl 1: Red/orange ring base sherd w/ interior and exterior cream slip. Bowl 2: Red/orange ware, ring base, consisting of 5 sherds partially reconstructed, but incomplete. 11-14-2001: Authority, Katy Blanchard NB: Catalogue Worksheet found with sheets not entered into Argus. Description on sheet reads: "11 pieces, incomplete, red orange ware, incompletely fired with cream slip on interior and exterior. Inverted, thickened rim, and rounded lip on ring base. Sections cut for testing." Most notably, the Field number matches this entry, but our count reads "1, 11 pieces" while this entry reads "2 bowls, 6 pieces" |
