Description | Trade piece made of two pieces. The center seam is tacked but not sewn, side seams not sewn. White cotton with light blue warp. Center section made up of woven bands of black, green, blue, cerise, yellow, purple and red with brocadeed design of rhombs and stylized plants in cerise, purple, green, yellow and white silk. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 30 epi, single ply, Z twist, light blue cotton, one strand. Weft: 37 ppi, single ply, Z twist, two strand white cotton. Weft predominantly plain weave. Two panels, two selvedges each." |
