Description | Used in a demonstration in Philadelphia as part of casting for the wax model and decoration. It is sometimes used with mustard oil to soften it or dhuna resin to darken it, and thus allow the applied threads to stand out against the body. Also used in India, apparently at the instigation of the Cooperative, who encourage its use because they consider it better though more expensive than paraffin or dhuna for modelling. Bees wax = mom (Bengali). |
