Description

Flat, wooden Katsina cradle doll. The face is painted white with a red, yellow and black border. The eyes are rectangular with upturned ends and the mouth is a protruding tube painted red. The body is painted white and red and the arms are green and yellow. This figure is likely a variant of the Corn Planter (Koroasta) Katsina, borrowed from the Laguna.
