Description | Greenish buff paste, hard-fired with no visible inclusions. Matt, decorated on exterior with matt brown paint. Paint blistered in places. Shered from deep open bowl. Dec: Thick annular band at rim, beneath row of standing birds with long thin necks, oval bodies. Bodies filled in, head, neck, and legs made with single brush stroke. Birds stand on thin annular band, beneath thick band, then three thin ones, portion of next zone, filled triangles? |
