Description | Arrrow with reed shaft, palm wood head, carved point. Plaited peel ring at juncture of shaft and head. Purchased by Charles E. and Delphine Peck, on a Smithsonian tour which stopped at Agats in April, 1992. According to Tobias Schneebaum it was made in the neighboring village of Sjuru and is "traditional Asmat." |
