Description | Bronze. One strut from a leg to the circle between the legs is modern, and at several points the ancient metal is reinforced. The rim of the collar has largely crumbled away. Each leg made of 3 strips which are some 0.025m apart where they are riveted to the collar but which converge, narrow and finite to form a foot. Legs strengthened by 3 horizontal struts riveted to middle band of each leg and to a central horizontal circle. A narrow rim at top and base of collar. Repousse ornament. |
