Description | Spheroidal body, cylindrical neck, everted lip one shoulder to neck loop handle. Indented, fruit form with blossom on base Narrow-necked jar/bottle with an effigy-fruit shaped body, flaring neck, flattened rim, 1 strap handle extending from the neck to the body, and a flat base. The vessel is shaped like a potato or fruit with round raised spots painted white all over. The rim, handle, and join between the neck and body are painted with white stripes. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "3302." |
