Description

Palm bark; large heavy paddle shape; handle flattened on top, widens to form grip end, is bound with white, pink cord, black waxed cord and razor grass; small yellow and red, and two large red and blue parrot feathers bound in where clubhead narrows to handle; clubhead slightly convex with traces of rectilinear design on back. Used in war, side of blade used against neck of enemy. When used in ceremony used to ambush spirits in fertility rites.
