Description

Squat mould-blown pitcher with vertical ribbed decorations on sides of body. Color of glass obscured by heavy iridesence, but may be greenish. Pitcher sits on a flat base with a pontil mark and its body tapers slightly from the base to the shoulders. On the shoulder sits the base of the ribbon handle; the other end of which is attached to the rim. Cylindrical neck with a single ring around the middle of it. Rim of pitcher flat and folded out and under itself. Inside the rim, there is an indented line between the rim and the sloping mouth of the vessel.
