Description | Three quarters of length of shaft split. Tied with vegetable fibre near end of split. Unsplit portion of shaft tapered to a point - Fish was cut open, flattened out and placed in split of the shaft. The free end of split was tied thus lashing the fish in place. The shaft was pressed into ground inclining towards an open fire. |
