Description | Tomb 1 = Herscher, Tomb 801. Red polished II jug with cutaway spout. Bright orange clay with thick very dark gray interior. Dark red slip. Round base, globular body; conical neck, cutaway spout; vertical handle from rim to upper body (damaged). Relief and incised decoration: on neck, puncture knob at either side of upper handle attachment; on handle (preserved), incised vertical line with horizontal row of four dots to the left.
